#004\ ASYMETRIC SHIRT AND BLEU JELLY'S

DIY: TWISTED CLASIC WHITE SHIRT



When I saw the lookbook from the romanian label M12, know for there unisex clothing, I just fell in love with this asymetric simple white shirt. So i decided to copy it, this is a verry simple DIY anyone could do this you just need a sewing machine and a few free hours.

All you need is:

- a plain white shirt

- some pins

- verry sharp siccors

- a sewing machine

First you draw a line so you know where to cut the shirt in halve.

after you cut the shirt you have to hem the edges so it looks nice a clean, but if you want a more rough look you don't have to to this.

After you have hem the shirt you start to pin the to pieces together, the pins have to have a space from 15 cm between each of them.

Then you sew the two halves togeter but not all the way, first you sew 5 cm, then you let 5 cm open and repeat it untill the to halves are all sewd together ( with little open spaces between it. )

No put the shirt on and enjoy!

SMAL GOODS

Some small things I got today and yesterday. Some Iris van Herpen cards just becaus there so pretty and some small things from the FAA collection and a new silicone case for my phone that remindes me of my childhood... the good old '90.

IRIS VAN HERPEN/ GRONIGER MUSEUM

Iris van Herpen belongs in the top 3 of my favorite designers and I was sooo super exited when I traveld all my way to Groningen ( that's 2 hours from where I live ) just to see her exhebition and it was totaly worth it! The 26 year old Iris van Herpen is a huge inspartation for me and other young designers to be. She graduated in 2008 and since then she is a sucsesfull fashion designer and was also the youngest designers of the "Chambre Syndicale de La Couture". Her fashion is more like art something you can watch for hours but you never get bored, I walked trough the exhebition 3 times and still got suprised by a new deatail I saw.

All her collections since her graduation whe exposed in Groniger museum, like Chemical Crows, Synesthesia, Refinery Smoke and Crystallization for the ones who have no cleu where I'm talking about... shame on you!
